Lyra is the only character (bar marc's brokenness) that can literally face tank everything in the game and just keep attacking
Despite her lower dps output, which may make it harder to keep aggro it would seem, she never has to stop attacking, takes minimal damage and heals herself back up. According to this post, having a6 lyra alone isn't enough to see a damage improvement from shiro (however, there is a definite improvement to utility) You also need her and claudia's matrix set to see that damage finally scale.
