We simulated the development of chemoresistance to two agents that differ both in the structure and mechanism of action. The collection features a wide range of cell lines, antibodies, organoids, mouse models, pdx models, cell culture media and more, all applicable to a wide array of cancer research areas. Knowing that acquisition of drug resistance is a major clinical problem in antineoplastic treatment, the present work aimed to present, through a literature review, the development of chemoresistant cells lines as a model in experimental oncology. We describe steps for determining therapeutic dose, assaying acquired resistance, and testing combination therapies This roadmap outlines key mechanisms that underlie the acquisition of therapeutic resistance in cancer and explores diverse modelling strategies. Cancer cells exhibit deregulation of these signals and may acquire proliferative the ability signaling, to maintain inhibition continuous of growth suppressors, abnormal resistance to cell death, replicative immortality, angiogenesis
