It had all kinds of leaks Oil filter housing gasket, bad valve cover (cracked) and gasket, bad oil cooler gasket.the list goes on. Have not yet diagnosed the source of the oil leak in my n52 Valve cover gasket was done 3 1/2 years ago along with front main seal, ofhg was done 2 years ago So that leaves possibility either they are failing, or perhaps vanos o rings Its also the first time i used ow30 oit when oil changed 1.
They have the normal maintenance and component issues expected with any manufacturer as well as the common oil leak areas. We demonstrated the the most common oil leak / leaks on our n52 engine that is in 2007 bmw e90 325i but this common oil leaks should apply to multiple bmw 6 cylinder engines.
