I was racking my brain trying to come up with consequences sometimes, and he never knew what was coming Also the consequences i came up with last long after the intial offence. After a spanking, we always hug them and tell them that we love them and that we don't want to spank them, but we have to discipline them We rarely need to spank our son any longer, he usually stays in line Our daughter is a little more 'stong willed' and spankings aren't quite as effective as they were before. The judge shouldn't have called that spanking however, because that just lumps her in with moms for whom spanking really is just a harmless swat on the bottom.
