If that's after encountering kenjaku, it would add more evidence that she might be the rat. I didn't really like mei mei all that much since her introduction but i didn't hate her so i guess i was more neutral on the character but after seeing the scene in the manga i have to say it is kinda sus I wonder if they have the balls to actually animate that scene in the anime and how people are gonna react to it. So if you read shibuya and think that nanami was a good person/teacher while mei mei was a bad person/teacher, congratulations!
