Discuss glacier national park travel with tripadvisor travelers I'm coming from los angeles so my plan was to fly in and spend a night in west glacier or apgar so i could get an early start the next day into the park and head lake mcdonald, and probably spend another night in west glacier there before i fly out so i don't have to rush out of many glacier. I'm heading to glacier in a couple weeks and just curious if this itinerary makes sense and if there's anything i'm missing or should squeeze in I have been working on our glacier itinerary and welcome any suggestions/feedback These three nights will be the end of a two week road trip covering north dakota, south dakota, and wyoming.
