The amount of stream you watched, and the amount of ads you viewed are under/over exaggerated. I have used all the extensions and scripts people mention below for years As of the last few days, it appears twitch updated their anti adblock so though these do block ads, the stream stays black forever So far the only thing i've found to work right now is the very unpleasant last resort of an alternative player.
