Ever come across moments when you've read something, or indeed watched something, and thought, hang on, thats the same as what i read/saw in.to the point that it makes you wonder if someones been peeking at other peoples homework? I know thats a stupid question as books vary from book to book, but whats the minimum Ive got approx 44k words in mine, and im about 3 quarters of the way through. My story is based on my own life and dressed up as a sort of superhero/love story. As mods we get to act quicker if you contineu to report post on the annouying habits of certain people or spammers. In real life or stories, people / charcters have power over others even if they are just more persuasive / accertive Overdoing the power thing for me is just a turn off Although if it is done properly it is the thing that holds the readers attention. In my novel, my mc has arrived in earth but i dont want him to find my other mc the minute he arrives becasue thats unrealistic I might want to spend another chapter of them looking for her and exploring earth but i'm scared it will be boring.
