The dagger is a very specific tool I think highly of a good dagger, for its stabbing ability I would take either as a self defense weapon Both were used, to great effect, by persons trained, with either style In ca, it is legal to carry, but illegal to conceal, a dirk or dagger. It is not at all unusual to see the dagger used as the only note marker, or to have the asterisk skipped and the dagger and double dagger used
I’m looking for a dagger to add to the collection I kind of like the modern gladius from tops but i feel like there should be better alternatives out there I want something something 6” or longer…regular high carbon steel will do…solid design Not worried about price as much as finding a good. A dagger's shape is naturally tailored to piercing/thrusting without breaking, as opposed to slicing A picture of your knife would be very helpful, to figure out the best way to go about it.
I’m looking for some advice I have a sog desert dirk (i thought), but i might’ve seen seen it referred to as the desert dagger I got it waaaay back when, early 90’s when sog was starting up next door to my friend ben’s house, in edmonds, wa It’s in good shape, with the nylon sheath and. I'm so torn by this.definitely fake, based on the raised edges on the stamping pointing to cold stamping on a finished knife What scares me is that looking at the whole knife i would think it's real, of course some of that is just not knowing what to look for.
