I am a 50 year old scapegoat daughter of a malignant narcissistic mother My father died many years ago I have an npd sister Fortunately, i have a wonderful husband and four fabulous young adult kids And a great therapist (sadly, she has now moved away) who helped my understand the family dynamics and gradually draw boundaries however, in the last year everything has changed
One had a bad relationship with her mom because she’d say she overly strict and controlling but her dad would always take her side Another i don’t remember too much since i only knew her for a short time, but i recall her talking fondly of her dad too.
