Times new roman supports most archaic cyrillic, like ѫѫ, ѭѭ, ѧѧ, ѣѣ and even ҁҁ and ѥѥ, but i can't find any (other than arial of course) that support those A community all about typography and type design. Title say it, what is your prefered font when building websites As i write mostly in latex, i tend to use either a times clone, a palatino clone, or stix2 When i need a sans serif font i generally use an helvetica clone or alegreya sans, whatever suits the mood of the document The combos times+helvetica or palatino+alegreya sans are the most professional looking according to me.
A subreddit for identifying fonts Show us a sample and we'll try to find the font. What is the best font and font size to use on a resume I've seen so many different variations, is there 1 that is standard or better? I'm getting into designing, and want more fonts than gimp offers I've used google to look up fonts but i'm very skeptical about downloading things from random sites
A place for quality free fonts. My personal feeling is that serif fonts are better for materials to be perused (e.g Full academic papers), and sans serif fonts are better for materials primarily consumed on screen or by a quick glance (e.g Presentation slides and references cards).
