When terri's friends learned that rick was abusive, it honestly should have been hazel to have animosity towards rick, not paige That could have been a perfect storyline for her After all, hazel was the one who pushed terri to ask rick out and she was the first one to discover that he was being abusive. Paige is on a downward spiral hinted even after the trial She gets mad at hazel about her perfect relationship with jimmy I think this was showing paiges internal conflicts with men with the whole rape case and spinner cheating with manny and her projecting that onto hazels relationship with jimmy.
I liked hazel more than i liked paige It would have been so good if we could have seen at least a little more of this character She happened to be one of my favorite characters from the earlier tng seasons That goes to show that hazel was hardly a character on degrassi sadly I wouldn't even call her and paige best friends Hazel was a million percent right
Nobody in her family died and paige wasn't sick, she just wanted to fuck an older guy again She let her own responsibilities fall to the wayside only for manny to pick up her slack and because paige is petty, she couldn. Hazel was there to help paige with all of her stuff and paige supported hazel just as well, their scene (and andrea lewis' acting) in the hallway at the hospital during time stands still part 2 where they're both crying and holding hands at jimmy's window is really touching and effective. From the start, hazel was being passive aggressive and trying to assert dominance over ellie because of her insecurities over her relationship with jimmy, similarly to the way she treated alex when palex became a thing.
