Where real mom bods are loved and appreciated A place for the mom next door to let her hair down… I'm cool with 'mom bods' I have never liked any version of the 'media' body I think most women who are considered 'standards of attractiveness' aren't unattractive, but they don't 'catch' me as well as someone proportioned but not close to perfect I've got a mom bod vent/rant i feel like i never hear anyone say this
The dad bod is celebrated I did all the work I carried our two beautiful children, put my body through hell, and haven't sprung back I overheard someone make a comment the other day about her daughter who gave birth a year ago. Posting here (rather than plastic surgery sub) bc i feel more comfortable in this community A place to celebrate the moms of the carolinas
You're not alone on this. 64k subscribers in the mombodnextdoor community To help embrace my body i look down at the extra tummy space i have and i say 'this was my children's first home' because it was, and your husband got to see the woman he loves before you had kids, have the pregnancy glow, the birth and your mom bod 😉 you were like a caterpillar/butterfly transformation and it's a wonderful thing. Mom bods should be celebrated and not demonized The only thing that really terrifies me about the idea of having kids is feeling something moving inside of you lmao.
