With our extensive experience relating to the same kind of interventions, we realized that community outreach and mobilization are often the most important and challenging activities in the entire program precisely on identification & selection of beneficiaries. This report offers a comprehensive overview of the joint monitoring of wfp programs implemented in somalia, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. The strategy was developed through a series of targeted consultations with more than 200 people representing six diverse stakeholder interests at operational and strategic levels both internal and external to wfp. The dashboard provides an overview of wfp’s programme performance at the global, regional and country level Data are disaggregated by strategic results, strategic outcomes, outcome indicators, as well as by the sex and age of beneficiaries. This report examines the evolution and contributions of those projects’ approaches to community mobilization at increasing scale.
An awareness campaign was initiated under the project to educate the community on the serious consequences of the disease and how to avoid and prevent it before it spreads in the community By the end of november, the daily infection rate significantly came down in the state. Afdan, in collaboration with un agencies, sida, and wfp, undertook a project focused on community mobilization and joint assessment in the idp camps of domey, barwaaqo, nasteexo, and najax.
