I first got the code and pulled the turbo and there was a crack on the inside of the turbo, obviously bad. Just a heads up on the p0299 issue, if your vehicle is under 120k miles chevy has an extended special coverage of the oem turbo I just got mine replaced for free. (only appeared once) so far i've Getting the p0299 underboost and i've done the boost leak test with odd results.
