Popular food delivery service instacart has been using a shady algorithm that charges different prices to different customers on the same grocery items in the same supermarkets without telling. The collaborative report involved enrolling 437 shoppers across four cities where individual shoppers would add the same items to their carts in the instacart app from the same store.
