Originally built in 1974, the health science building houses the college’s cosmetology and health occupations programs The washington state legislature has committed to providing $70 million of this $100 million project. The university of new mexico college of nursing and public health excellence building is a simple yet dynamic facility that puts students at the heart of its new interdisciplinary educational, community and student support spaces. It is an interdisciplinary space for students in dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public health and social work, with classrooms, a student lounge, library, labs and more.
