Mac recognizes that it is plugged into an external display (i think) but the dell does not change from its own windows computer screen I have tried playing with display. Dell support assist is a program that can help identified driver updates, optimized storage, find and fix issues automatically It's prompting you to purchase an extended warranty Whether you decide to extend the manufacturer warranty is your call Dell support assist you will continue to have free use of either way.
I use a dell docking station Basically, it will identify the 2 extra monitors i have plugged in (as seen above), but it won't display anything on the screen Typically, after a couple days, i'll turn my computer on and it'll magically work again As i've talked to it and they have no clue, hoping that somebody in here could provide some insight. Does anybody know what this dell core services application is, that is preinstalled on newly dell systems (latitude 5530 in this casebut but also saw it on precisions) i think they started preinstalling this app when dell switched from shipping the systems with win 10 22h2 instead of 21h2, because older systems but same model did not had this preinstalled
Don't be worried about the slow charger warning tho. When you post something not working, try posting with all possible details like the system model, os info etc Try uninstall/reinstall dpm, then update the app & then try to add the active pen. Is it safe to remove my dell and dell fusion service I've had this new laptop (xps 17 9720, i9 processor, nvidia rtx 3060, 4k screen) for a couple of weeks now On day one i uninstalled all of dell's bloatware except for the driver updater
The privacy agreement for dell supportassist seemed particularly diabolical. At the risk of asking a dumb question, i am wondering which apps/services are essential/necessary for the operation of my dell prebuilt desktop i purchased Would the computer still be fully functioning or is there something i would be missing I don't really care about losing out on.
