Families with income at or below 350% of the federal poverty level, with children who are three or four years old by sept 30 of the school year and who live in fairfax county or the city of fairfax are eligible for participation in vpi. Four year old applications are processed first and students are accepted on a rolling schedule based on eligibility priority Three year old applications are processed for eligibility, placement and waitlist, space permitting, at their local site.
