Once grindr bans you, your device id which is unique to every device, gets banned from logging in I have used grindr many times and have seen these types of scams on there but my red flag meter goes off easily I’m not out (not 100%) either and that has its own set of anxiety already, then compound that with wanting affection/sex, a big heart, and being a generous person with money, you had the scammers sights focused hard on you. Grindr, year after year has selectively reduced its features within the app Ive noticed even taps now are restricted to premium users now I can't fathom paying the ludicrous prices they're asking for and receiving spam after spam.

In my area there is a lot of trans women on grindr, but they are mostly straight and there for the guys I have occasionally seen (im sorry i hate using these terms but they are helpful in this situation) a few afab non binary folks not (visibly)on t on there as well.
