In 1969 i knew i wanted either a camaro or firebird for my first car. It came in my 1968 firebird, and straight away i knew it was the wrong rear end It was too wide, and was replaced recently Now i am trying to sell it and want to know its intended application So far i know it's a gm 10 bolt 8.5 the codes found on the diff Hi, 67 ss/rs just now starting to work on a couple of things that need fixing on an otherwise very nice car
I have what i hope are the correct parts on order I have never owned a convertible before this firebird I have never installed a convertible top I have never watched someone installing a convertible top All the written instructions that i have, state to use the old top as a template My old top was shredded during the trip to texas
These are the factory jack points, this diagram says firebird but they are the same for camaro I have had my camaro jacked up about 20 inches all around for about 5 months now using these points. Choosing the right gear ratio i've been contemplating a rebuilt of the rear end in my '67 firebird It currently has the stock 3.08 open rear end in it The car also a healthy 400 with a turbo 400 trans I'm fairly certain i'd like to go with the factory posi/limited slip carrier
I'm still working on this '67 firebird that belongs to a local guy I have completed some suspension upgrades and installed the interior and am now tackling the drivetrain concerns I took it for a 1.5 mile drive, after idling for a few minutes, and the temp went to 207 degrees before i shut. The fuel gauge doesn't work in my '69 firebird, and was wondering where to start troubleshooting How can i tell if it's the sender, gauge, or wiring I have a 69 camaro and i am having issues with my turn signals
I have a new turn switch and new flashers The plug is clearly sending the correct signal for each side yellow and green wire.when.
