How can i set up the header to appear on the first page only I'm working in word 2016 First off, i had trouble finding where to set header properties Second, when i checked the box for different first page and deleted the header contents, the letterhead disappeared entirely. Since i have a lot of details about my time at one company i want to have the company's name followed by (cont.) as a header on page 2 but leave page 1 alone That is to say, i don't want anything resembling a header on any page except page 2, so the top margin of page 1 should be unaffected

I have gone through multiple settings in the app and can't seem to find a way to remove the same header i want on page one only from the other pages in my document. In order to have a header only on the first page of the document, that first page must also be its own section This blank section will now appear as an empty thumbnail at the end of the document's thumbnail gallery Click, drag, and drop the new section icon to the very beginning of the thumbnails.
