I started on lamotrigine (lamictal) just over a year ago Prior to starting the tablets my blood pressure was really good, however within a few months of starting my meds my blood pressure went through the roof. Thanks to everyone for all their great input and for making this such an informative site I have had epilepsy for several years (complex partial) with moderate success controlling its effects I have been on tegretol (worked fairly well for quite some time,) zonegran (worked quite well with the tegratol, but caused kidney stones and the trade off was not worth it,) topamax.
