It's been a long time since i've purchased in store, but if it acts like a small business acct when you purchase your label from home, the tracking becomes active and doesn't show the message you're reporting (it'll say something like label created but not yet. The vendor generates the tracking number when they submit the shipping info online So there is always a lag between when you receive the tracking info and it appears online on canada post's website or whoever the shipper is Given the length of time as others have said it is likely coming from china If it doesn't arrive within that time frame, contact the vendor to get your money refunded. If you ship to the us canadian tracking numbers can usually be looked up on the usps site and the delivery information will be there
So in the case of an item going to the uk try and look up the tracking number on the royal mail site. Different info between usps and canada post. Confusion update i received my package, however the tracking still says waiting lol Basically if this happens to anyone, ask canada post if they issue a new tracking number for within canada.
