Adjust the coolant level to the cold mark if necessary If it still is giving issues it is time to check the sensors Ac off due to high engine temp links troubleshooting temp sensors don't forget to introduce yourself and your cruze here This thing is leaking again What are the most common coolant leaks I had the water pump done at the dealer a few months ago.
About three months later (~april) during a regular oil change the mechanic noticed that it was low on coolant and had some added Another ~2 months later end of july i had a message engine hot, a/c. See attached photos of failed molded plastic part engine coolant water outlet part originally installed part on gen 1 2016 cruze limited ltz Notice the bottom outer wall of the water outlet has a much thinner wall The part began to slowly leak coolant at the bottom of the water outlet pipe. I just had a replace my original reservoir
Chevy cruze's supposedly have a bad rep with the coolant leaks I swapped it out with the dorman aftermarket reservoir I just decreased and shined the engine bay, so looking for where it's leaking from i was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, also i believe one of (the many) recalls i've had was for this issue I may be wrong though but i believe the chevy cruze had a recall for the coolant leak 2011 chevy cruze ltz 1.4l turbo I own a 2015 chevy cruze lt 1.4t and i have had so many issues with overheating
In the past 2 months i have replaced 1 thermostat, 1 coolant temp sensor, 1 water outlet, 1 heater bypass hose, 1 coolant return line, and go through coolant like crazy Recently the car marked all the way and shut. I got a coolant leak from water pump on my 2012 holden cruze with 1.8l f18d4 engine at about 90,000 km on the odometer and i used nulon radiator engine block stop leak 500ml to treat it. Can you smell coolant either in the engine compartment or the interior Have you made sure the overflow tank cover is completely closed Do you ever see excessive white smoke
I took my '13 cruze in for an oil change a couple of days ago and the mechanic came back saying there looked to be some fluid gathering in the engine area, he suspected transmission fluid He also mentioned there was a spot under the engine that was 'damp' and could be the beginning of a leak of some sort.
