History of defence services staff college in 1905, british army established an institute which trains the officers in british army to use mind and muscle in war like situations. It trains officers of the all three indian armed forces which are the (navy, army, air force) and officers from friendly foreign countries for command and staff appointments. The aim of dscsc course is to develop the professional knowledge and understanding of selected officers of the three services in order to prepare them for the assumption of increasing responsibilities both as staff and in command. The dssc was set up in india in 1905 as the army staff college at deolali (near bombay) Now in the north western of pakistan On the partition of the sub continent, the indian element moved to wellington in 1947.
