Pm kisan is a central sector scheme with 100% funding from government of india It has become operational from 1.12.2018. Under this initiative, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments directly into their bank accounts. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹6,000 per year to farmers to help them purchase agricultural products and reduce their dependency on informal credit sources. Pradhan mantri kisan samman nidhi (pmkisan, translation Prime minister's farmer's tribute fund) is an initiative by the government of india that give farmers up to ₹6,000 (us$71) per year as minimum income support.
Under this scheme, every eligible farming family receives an annual benefit of ₹6,000, distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months.
