At the end of the day all 3rd party apps use official apis so its not like they have additional superpowers :) what sets tessie apart and why i use it instead of the official tesla app for me are as follows

Ability to unlock my tesla. No subscription, just a one time fee Also, $49.99 per year, recurring, is a bit unreasonable for what you get with the tessie app Tessie worked oob, and seemed worth it's money.i took a lifetime subscription I'm using the tesla app to control the car, but tessie is filling the gap with better statistics, but also the automation feature The tesla app is used daily, the tessie app a few times a week

It's a very well thought out app Personally i find it worth the money. Here are my thoughts for what it's worth Both tezlab and tessie paled to teslafi in terms of what i wanted which was calendar level stats of my drives and charges None of them had anything like the daily, month view or year views of my stats I did really like the interfaces for single drives far more

They are usable on the phone

I installed the mobile app tessie and connected my tesla account It basically provided the same functionality as the tesla app so i deleted it Danny invited me to join as a tmc vendor I'm happy to support tmc and anyone that might be using tessie The best way to get immediate support is through help.tessie.com and support@tessie.com, but i'll also be around to answer questions here Tmc members get 10% off

Is there a clear cut best 3rd party app I know several are out there (tezlab, tessie, teslafi (not technically an app, i know) I'm trying out tessie's free trial and it seems pretty sleek Also watched a video review of tezlab and seems pretty interesting too, though seems to offer a lot of. If you're interested in trying it out, use code redditfriends on tessie.com when signing up for 10% off forever. How many tessie app users think it is worth it

I’d love to hear the good, bad, and any additional thoughts.

The ui and app of tessie are great, data capture seems comparable and i haven't noticed any vampire drain But the best feature above tezlab (the only other teslafi replacement app i've tried) is that tessie has an amazing data import feature
