Haven't handle the kimber but looks like a nice firearm I do have a the cs and have been carrying it throughout the year Definitely capable of reaching out to 150 yards on a steel plate or more if you do your part. If you did not know yet Kimber finally has the kds9c optic plate available I ordered mine last night
