I think people complaining about quality doing down lately, must be newer people to 3d printing. Thingiverse is still very valid and growing It seems thingiverse has disabled 1 click downloading of items listed So the 90 file storage system i've found, that has 90 parts, it's now a 10 minute ordeal to download instead of 1 click for a zipped file So has anyone got any recommendations to alternative sites like thingiverse? Thingiverse and cults3d are both legit and probably the first stop for most printers
Thingiverse is for free models but quality is all over the place and cults is better quality models but most have a price tag. I’d like to know, from the perspective of someone who downloads others designs, which sight do you prefer, and why? Getting familiar with 3d printing and how to use thingiverse I saw some things on thingiverse i want to print I do not have direct access to the printer however as it is through the library Typically you send the file to them with colour choices, infill (i think) and what percentage size you want the item to be.
Thingiverse suffers from episodes of appallingly bad performance, and the search function is sketchy, at best. If you're still debating on switching from thingiverse to prusa's collection site (printables.com), hopefully this gives you all you need to know (their search is so trash) Like the title says, is there a website like thingiverse but one that focuses more on resin models?
