Probably because in 2011 when the first movie came out, she wasn't really a big star By the time the second movie comes out, she has two hunger games movies, silver linings playbook, and american hustle under her belt, and she can throw her weight around as a star. She's not in the movie that much and any sensible production would schedule to shoot in a way where she would film as many of her scenes as possible back to back to limit how many times they had to go through this process.
