It failed at the water flow portion of the test It looks like the water flow meter is not working, which is why the system is not showing any water used, which in turn is probalby why the salt level isn't changing. I have this system at my house I got sucked in to buying it a few years back It ran fine and never had any issues Now in the last year i have had several problems with it
The latest is the motor/sensor #1 failure alarm (code 102) I have searched the internet and cannot find a thing about this I believe i had the same exact issue 3 months ago and again 3 months prior to that Rainsoft now tells me that i can replace the resin for $1,080 or can have a new system for $2,850 by selling back the old one to them and buying a new one This is a lot of $$$$$ either way I have never had a water filtration or softener system before, so can really use some advice.

The computer control shows a 2 on the far left side and a 0 on the far right side on the computer screen I have tried to start the system manually but it does not start Can someone tell me what to do to fix this problem. I own a rainsoft ec4 & qrs system (as well as an ultrefiner ii) and my drinking filter alarm has started Is this alarm referring to a filter on my ultrefiner or is it for the ec4 system If it's the ultrefiner, i see instructions on how to change those, but don't see anything regarding the ec4.
My rainsoft system is running continuously and the water is draining down the drain line No source throughout the entire house is pulling water I am having to turn off the main water valve into the house to prevent the waste of water The system is still performing its flush cycle in the evening Is there a way to reset the system?
