In 1989, the fixx released their first album in nearly three years and only release on rca records, calm animals, which contained another hit driven out (another no 1 on billboard's album rock chart). I saw the band open for the moody blues in '86 and was impressed with the number of hits they had in the 80's. Few bands encapsulate the essence of the 1980s new wave era quite like the fixx With introspective lyrics, driving percussion, and innovative guitar and keyboard textures, the fixx crafted.
